Dongguan Yulan Theatre | Carlos Ott

Dongguan Yulan Theatre

The proposed image for the Dongguang Grand Theatre is that of a curvilinear and dynamic dancing structure, that conveys to the outside the musical and theatrical activities of the inside halls. The revolving conical volumes are clad in granite and glass. The clear separation of the Opera and Multi-Purpose halls will allow to use the facility either independently or simultaneously, thus ensuring the most economical exploitation of the complex. The Opera Hall has been designed with a small asymmetric configuration.
