La imagen propuesta para el Henan Art Center es la de una estructura curvilínea y dinámica, que transmite al exterior las actividades culturales, artísticas, musicales y teatrales de las salas interiores.
Alberga una ópera de 1800 asientos, una sala de conciertos de 800 asientos, una sala de usos múltiples de 300 asientos, un museo de arte popular y una galería de bellas artes.
El Centro de Arte diseñado con una configuración asimétrica en un esquema simétrico, tiene su eje perpendicular a la orilla del Lago Central.
Este hito garantiza que Zhengzhou tendrá una personalidad especial como Centro de Salón de Arte y Música. Los volúmenes escultóricos curvos son inmediatamente reconocibles en la composición de diseño urbano del Distrito Central de Negocios.
