MACA – Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Atchugarry



La Fundación Pablo Atchugarry, institución sin fines de lucro creada por el escultor para promover las Artes ubicada en un complejo campestre en Manantiales, Punta del Este, alberga el museo MACA. Una superficie triangular alabeada cubre la conexión acristalada con la Sala de Exposiciones existente. Una espaciosa carcasa curvilínea de estructura de madera laminada con techos de metal, totalmente acristalada y con luz natural, alberga las esculturas. Un prisma de hormigón y ladrillo íntimo e introvertido, con control sobre la luz ultravioleta, la temperatura y la humedad, encierra el espacio de las pinturas. La base afilada expuesta es una escultura de hormigón armado en sí misma.
